François Lacoste, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
François is a recognized HIFU expert with 25 years experience as an engineer in R&D for projects in the field of non-invasive therapies using physical agents. At EDAP-TMS, where he headed R&D for 15 years, he instigated HIFU projects, notably the thyroid project.

David Del Bourgo, MBA
VP Marketing & Sales
Prior to joining Theraclion, David was Marketing Director at Orbotech Ltd and a Manager for the Strategic Consulting firm Advention BP. Before that, he worked 7 years for GE Healthcare in Global Marketing and Engineering. David holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an engineering degree from the University of Technology of Compiègne, France.

Sylvain Yon, PhD
VP Research & Development
Sylvain co-founded Echosens in 2001, and led the engineering activities of the company. Previously, he contributed to create a company working on acoustic wave propagation. He also worked as assistant professor at the French Navy Officers School. Sylvain holds a Doctorate in physical Acoustics from the Paris VII University and a degree in Engineering from ESPCI.

Dr. Catherine Ortuno, MD
Medical Director
Before joining Theraclion Catherine was in similar responsibilities at Brothier Laboratories. Prior to that Catherine held during 11 years different management position within the clinical department of the medical devices company Porgès.
She holds an MD from the University of Cochin.

Jean-Yves Burel - Chairman of the Board
Jean-Yves is a former GE executive with 23 years of experience at GE Healthcare, in particular as Vice-President Hospital and Healthcare Solutions, Commercial, Operations and Sales.
