Clinical Procedure




Theraclion main focus  is to provide a new tool to perform non-invasive surgery. The TH-One has already been used to treat hyperparathyroidism and thyroid nodules

Typical treatment time: 20 - 30 minutes

1. Procedure Set-up

- Device preparation
- Patient installation
- Conscious sedation 

2. Device Positioning
-  Manual positioning of the treatment probe over the patient and vizualisation of the target.
- High-precision electronic centering of the target.

3. Target Area Outline
 - The target to be treated is outlined on the real time ultrasound image.

4. Treatment
- Repeated adjacent pulses in order to cover the whole target.
- Continuous ultrasound monitoring of the target area.

At the end of the treatment the patient can leave de room unassisted.
